For over 24 years, Horizons Greater Washington has provided an award-winning academic and enrichment program for students residing in underserved communities in Washington, DC and Montgomery County, MD. Our program has grown from 15 kindergarten students in 2000 at one site to 420 rising 1-9 students in 2024 across three sites.

Through our summer and school year Saturday programming, we provide our students with dedicated teachers, intensive learning, and a robust curriculum that includes swim instruction, art, STEM, and more! Horizons works to improve our students' foundations for the school years ahead - preparing them for high school - while providing important avenues to develop creative interests, life skills, identity, and a sense of belonging to academic and professional settings.
